Her parents, particularly her mother, were concerned about early marriage and encouraged their children to continue in farming to stay close to home. However, Aoom aspired to study and live in Bangkok. She eventually graduated from Rajabhat Suan Sunandha University. While pursuing her studies, she participated in beauty contests and worked diligently to fund her education and maintain her appearance.
